Kym Needham FMAAT: Managing Director / Senior Accountant

I am married to Paul and have been since 2007. I have a daughter Olivia who was born in 2009 and she now keeps me very busy with her hectic dancing schedule. Born and bred in Heanor, I still live there today and take great pride in having the business on my local High Street. I love my job and it was always my ambition to have my own business which I achieved at the age of 26. I work a lot of hours which are sometimes very unsociable but in my spare time I enjoy shopping (especially for shoes and handbags), socialising with family and friends and burying my head in a book. I like to head abroad on my holidays a couple of times a year but I am just as happy in a field in my tent for weekends with family and friends as long as wine is involved. I am always keen to support local groups and charities both personally and through the business, I can often be found to be involved with fundraisers at the local Sunnyside Club for a variety of causes.

Alyson Topley: Business Services Director

I am a mother of two (one of them being Kym!) and a grandmother of three.
My family mean everything to me and I spend a lot of my time with them and do my fair share of babysitting duties.
When I can, I enjoy socialising with friends and family, and going on holiday.

Jodie Hart: HR Manager / Payroll Manager

I was originally born in Heanor but always knew I was a country bumpkin at heart, so im now living in Tansley.
I have a beautiful daughter, Ivy and a handsome son, Monty with my long term partner Danny.
I love living in the countryside where my family and I enjoy walking our dog Lily.
In my spare time when im not working, running about on school runs or karting my daughter here there and everywhere (she has a better social life than me), I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family.

Bradley Hutsby: Senior Accounts Manager

I live in Heanor and have been working at KLN since June 2016.
In November 2019, I became fully AAT qualified completing all the AAT qualifications whilst working here at KLN.
I have also recently been promoted into a managerial role and I couldn’t be prouder.

I enjoy spending time socialising with friends and family and going to watch football.

I have worked with KLN Accountancy Services Limited since 2015 and have enjoyed it every step of the way.
After leaving sixth form at Heanor Gate Science College, deciding it wasn’t for me. I started to study for my AAT, determined to get my MAAT status! I am excited to see what the future holds for me at KLN.

In my spare time, I love having lazy days and spending time with friends and family, especially my nieces and nephews.

Natasha Mee: Business Services Senior.

After taking a 2 year break to have my 2 beautiful children, I have returned to KLN to continue my accounting ambitions.
I am Level 2 and Level 3 qualified, that I achieved before my departure, and I now hope to one day complete my Level 4 to become MAAT qualified.

I enjoy going for long walks around our local park with my family, and I especially enjoy ending the walks with a family-sized chocolate bar!!

I am originally from Hucknall, Nottinghamshire but I am now living in Alfreton, Derbyshire.
I have been with KLN since October 2019 and also have my Level 2 Accountancy qualification which I completed a long time ago but I didn’t carry on with due to having children, I am excited to now be within the KLN team.

James Hyde: Business Services Assistant.

I recently joined KLN in May 2021 after having spells in industry and practice
prior to joining, I became AAT level 3 qualified in January 2021. Since then I have been putting all my efforts
into my level 4 studying to become MAAT qualified before my 21ST birthday in August 2022

I like to spend my spare time with friends & family and going to see my favourite team play
football on a Saturday afternoon, Peterborough United (Up The Posh!)

Charlie Anthony: Trainee Business Services Assistant.

I recently joined KLN accountancy services in September 2021 after completing my GCSE’S and deciding I wanted to enter the world of accountancy.
This is my first job in accountancy and I’m really enjoying the experience and how much I’ve learnt so far.
I am currently just starting off my AAT levels 2 and 3 in bookkeeping and accounts and can’t wait to achieve these as soon as possible.
Once I’ve hopefully acquired these, ideally, I’d love to go on to my level 4 qualification to attain my full MAAT status.

I’m from Ilkeston and have lived there for most of my life. I love watching football as well as playing for my team, which takes up most of my spare time in the week (and most weekends).
I try to find some time to socialise with mates at the weekend, whether that’s locally, or going into Nottingham shopping and for meals.

I am Heanor born & bred.
I have known Kym and her family for over 35 years.
I joined the KLN family in 2018 and enjoying the challenge in the world of accounts.
I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren, who I love to spend my time with. My youngest daughter Charlie also works here and its great to work with her.
